I live my life pretty well the same everyday. I jog in the morning, have breakfast at the diner, spend time with my friends, do chores, and then sometimes help my parents' at their bar. Who knew, that one particular night while I was at the bar, I was going to meet him.

I’ve only been at the bike shop for an hour when I get one of the worse calls of my life. My dad suffered a heart attack and has been taken to the local hospital. I instantly shut everything down, make a few phone calls, then head to be at his bed side. After three hours, and not enough information, the Doctor comes out as I put down my phone and look towards the doctor standing in front of me. Only one thought comes to mind… Angel.
Tess:
Ever since I was a kid, people would make fun of my last name. Kids can be cruel. I thought that once I started medical school, it would stop. Boy was I wrong. Don’t you just love the smell of freshly baked bread? It’s one of the things that I love about being a baker. Creating something totally from scratch. Giving it the love and support that it needs to grow into something mouth-watering and amazing smelling.
Another thing that looks amazing and absolutely delicious is my new Cake Decorator, Candy.
But there’s a problem. I have a strict no employee dating rule in place, and it wouldn’t work if the boss himself breaks it. Though, Candy is sweet, humble, and breathes a breath of fresh air into my life. I just might have to do something about that rule. It hangs over our heads at every turn and almost kiss.

I can’t believe it! It’s finally Christmas time!
A lot has happened in the last year, including losing a few of my squad, celebrating my thirtieth birthday, and recently losing my Father, who ran the family farm.
During my extended leave, I have a decision to make. Do I take over the farm and run it myself, sell it off, or do something else with it? Mom and I have to have a serious discussion when I return home. I have to give my superiors an answer ASAP!
Another reason I’m glad to be going home, I’ll get to see my High School sweetheart, Gina Kincaid. Even though we broke up after High School, my feelings for her never quit. I wonder if she still has feelings for me or if time has stolen it?
